Spectrum S-4001 Camera
Sorter can be used for a wide range of sorting applications
such as for food grains like rice, coffee, cereals, pulses,
groundnuts etc., and dehydrated vegetables as well as
for non food products such as plastics and pharmaceuticals.
Using advanced high resolution line scan CCD Cameras,
the product to be sorted is scanned at up to 2000 scans
per second producing a very high resolution image of the
object. The resulting image is displayed on a video screen
for on line viewing of the product. The resultant product
data are compared with user preset parameters to reject
the defective product using ultra fast pneumatic ejectors.
The S-4001 is fully computer controlled with automatic
calibration and self check procedures. Instantaneous change
over from one product to another is possible, using pre-stored
sorting algorithms. Models are available in transparency
mode for sorting of dehydrated onion, garlic, carrot cubes
etc.
